Dear Mary
I would like to. tell you about my first year at college. for the first time too.
Now I have a lot of friends and I’m very happy to meet other people.
As for the subjects, I can tell you, that in general they are very difficult. We have ten subjects and it is necessary to study a lot. I have maths and obvious you know I hate this subject.
The teachers are nice. In reference to the other subjects I think are very nice. We have a lot of work in class.
The methodology is based on group work of four of five people.
In conclusion it has been a very hard year for me.

ICT is the future of education.

Nowadays a lot of people think that new technologies and computers are the best way for learn.
This is true, because you can have all the information. If you use computers every day, practice and learn. And as people can reed on the screen, they are also good for the environment.
Another aspect is negative, because we have all the information on the net and it is necessary to select the really important information. This point for the children is especially difficult.
Children need teachers, to help to find the right information.
A good application of resources can be fantastic because is when the children have a really process of education.
I think children need the teachers’ guidance to find the right information. It will only be possible when teachers have a good pre-service education. And very important too it is the real access that all the population has these technologies.

Hi Jan
I’ve finished the University, for the year, the last month was very hard and I’m very tired. The first think than I want to do be is going to the beach or a weak on holiday. May be, my family will come to Ibiza too. Maybe you could come with as too and we will enjoy the good weather on the island.
Secondly, I must plan next year to, and I don’t know what is better for me, to prepare the entrance exam for in-service teaching or to a specific aspect of education, to do a master’s.
Perhaps you can advise me what to do, because you are the right person because of your large experience in education.
Nowadays we have a lot of choices, but it can be confusing for me too. I hope you can recommend something. I would like to have an idea before the end of June. I must fill in the forms for the new course.

Traditional methodologies are skill better than modern methodologies.
Nowadays new methodologies are the revolution in the educational world. All teachers must know what is the better for their pupils. They have all the information in the world in their hands.
The educational systems are changing, new learning methods are effective, and children will remember anything that they work on, because these things are from the real life. At this moment, they increase their motivation and they are in an authentic all process of learning.
There is a lot if research about this, for example “Howard Gardner” speech about different intelligences, the person can have different intelligences (logical, mathematics, sports, sciences…).
On the other hand we have the opposite, traditional methodologies are boring, pupils studied subjects based on memoristic learning. They don’t learn work in practice and they forget many things. When children loose the motivation they stop learning. Perhaps they are boring and teachers too.
In my opinion new technologies are better for learning and they are very important for motivation, they are fantastic.
